Sydney tackled her very first 5K.
(pictured with her friend Julia)
It was in a beautiful place called Cantingy.
The weather was nice and the scenery was great.
Signs were made.
People (Grandma) came in town to watch.
And there was a great cheering squad too!
Here they are all geared up and ready to go.
Sydney ended up finding another girl to run the remainder of the race with.
The kids were happy to congratulate the girls on their run.
Finishing strong
She ended up coming in 3rd place for her age group (10 and under girls). She won a medal and got a picture with Tony the Tiger.
It was a great day!
