School Update

A little update on the 2010-2011 school front.

Sydney is in second grade. Spencer is in full day kindergarten. Saryn is in preschool three days a week and Shayla gets to be home all day with me.

This is a picture that Spencer colored on the first day of school. They are the coyotes.

Shayla gets to play with Cole every week while Sunnie and I alternate volunteering at the school. It's been a slick deal the past few years. It was fun to get these two smiling for this.

This is our preschool carpool crew. Jada, Saryn, Lincoln, Andrew and Shayla along for the fun ride. The little conversations these guys have are hilarious! And usually they're forming their after school playgroups in the car. This really is a cute little group!

Saryn usually likes to pick out her clothes the night before and this was something she had set out. Not too bad. She changed her mind in the morning though.

Sydney - spring 2011

The elementary school gives an award every nine weeks to one student in each class called the Coyote Champion. All the students vote for someone in their class. Spencer won the award for the 2nd nine weeks, but was sick on the day they gave out the awards. His teacher did a little something special for him one day when I was in to volunteer. He was so excited to get his medal.

Sydney's been able to be Coyote Champion each year so far. She won it this year (the third nine week period) with her friend Elle. They've won this award together at least once before. It was cute to see Sydney give a little wave to her when she went up on stage to be recognized with all the rest of those coyote champions.

It's been a great year so far. Kinda crazy that we only have a few weeks left. It's amazing how quickly these years fly by. Sydney will be in middle school before we know it!
